Winter is here, the temperatures have dropped and snow is covering the ground. So lets warm up with a hot cup of tea and an essential oil scented bath. And let our imaginations run away…
What you need:
1 cup citric acid* 1 cup baking soda ½ cup cornstarch ½ cup oil (jojoba oil, olive oil, coconut oil, etc.) 8-10 drops of your favorite essential oil(s)
½ cup Epsom salts (optional)
Silicone mold
For color variation you could use an all natural food color.
* Citric acid can be found at most major supermarkets in the canning section and what gives the balms its fizz that we all love.
Instructions:
Place all ingredients into a glass bowl and mix until no lumps and the consistency of wet sand. If the mixture is too moist add a bit more cornstarch & baking soda.

Place the mixture into the silicon molds or something that will help give it shape for example Easter egg or decorative Christmas ornament that has two parts.

Let them sit for 24 hours and/ or until they are completely dry.

Place in the bath and let the essential oils do their job.

No bath? Place on the bottom of the shower floor. The water will help dissolve the bath bomb and release the aroma of the essential oils into the steam.
